Week 3: Post Your Wiki URL

After you go through Week 3 you’ll have created your own awesome wiki with a movie list page.  Tell us you’re wiki address (url) so we can add to your list!

As the assignment says, in addition to making your own wiki (google sites page) you need to go to the KORE wiki:  http://sites.google.com/site/korestudent/Home/best-movies-ever-made and add to The Best Movies Ever Made wiki.

It’s easy, at the bottom of the page is a “sign in” buton.  Use your Gmail login (if you haven’t got one yet, sign up for a free gmail account).  Then Click “add item” or “customize list.”

Remember, you only fail if don’t try.

Tell us your Google Space wiki by posting here.

Week 1 Posts: Show us Your Blogs!

After you go through Week 1 you’ll have created your own awesome blog.  Tell us you’re blog address (url).

Welcome to Computer Literacy: Web 2.0

How to Use This Course

All of the content for this course is accessible from the right sidebar titled Course Materials (it’s on the right there, just below the search box). But you’ll probably want to begin by just diving right into the Syllabus. You’ll also notice that Announcements are available in another sidebar there on the right, just below the Course Materials.

Course Description

Course ImageInnovation continues to occur on the internet at an extremely lively pace. What was once the realm of email, FTP, Gopher, and the Web is barely recognizable a mere 10 years later. Keeping up with the speed of innovation and maintaining a familiarity with the most recent tools and capabilities is handy in some professions and absolutely critical in others. This course is designed to help you understand and effectively use a variety of “web 2.0″ technologies including blogs, RSS, wikis, social bookmarking tools, photo sharing tools, mapping tools, audio and video podcasts, and screencasts.

These course materials were originally published as part of USU OpenCourseWare. Please enjoy the course and I’d love your feedback!
